My new spindle is here, excited to fix the problems caused by not doing the job myself...that’ll show me.
Oooh roller bearings, I guess the old part was a brass bushing. It’s the little things.

Going to get better for me, because our office is going to have a working mill and lathe soon... now I just need to figure out what to build for my car.

I just had to order a new wheel hub, turns out the reason my DSC & ABS don’t work is a busted reluctor wheel. On my car, it’s built into the wheel bearing, which is only available as a complete hub assembly.

Boo to integration like that. Same story with my camshaft position sensor...its in the distributor, the nice expensive distributor.

My cam sensor was pretty easy, I just had to remove the VANOS solenoid and part of my air intake for access.

Sitting here thinking whether i’ve spent more time fixing things because i haven’t done them myself, or whether i’ve spent more time fixing things because i have done them myself...
